Dubinor Tablet is a combination medicine primarily prescribed for the management of neuropathic pain, which is chronic pain caused by damaged nerves, often associated with conditions like diabetic neuropathy, shingles, or spinal cord injury. Its therapeutic effect stems from three active ingredients: Pregabalin (an anticonvulsant) works by decreasing pain signals through modulating the calcium channel activity of nerve cells; Nortriptyline (a tricyclic antidepressant) increases the levels of certain chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) in the brain, which helps stop the movement of pain signals; and Methylcobalamin (a form of Vitamin B12) helps in the production of myelin, a protective layer for nerve fibers, and supports the regeneration of damaged nerve cells.
