Gemer V 2mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine used mainly for managing type 2 diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar levels) when diet, exercise and single medicines aren’t enough. It’s a combination medicine containing three active drugs:

Glimepiride – helps the pancreas release more insulin

Metformin – lowers glucose production by the liver and improves insulin sensitivity

Voglibose – slows carbohydrate breakdown and sugar absorption after meals

Side Effects

Hypoglycemia (Low Blood Sugar): Trembling, sweating, dizziness, and hunger.

Digestive Issues: Nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, or a metallic taste in the mouth.
Before taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have liver or kidney disease or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Generally, it is advised to avoid alcohol while on treatment.
