Dabigo 150 mg Capsule is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) containing dabigatran etexilate. It is used to prevent and treat blood clots in the body and reduce the risk of serious conditions like stroke and heart attack.It works by inhibiting thrombin, a key clotting factor, helping keep blood flowing smoothly and preventing clot formation in veins and arteries.
Uses:-
- Prevention of stroke in atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat)
- Treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Treatment and prevention of pulmonary embolism (PE)
Side effects :-
Common side effects such as bleeding more easily than normal (most common), bruising, nosebleeds, stomach pain or indigestion. If these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Avoid taking this tablet if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from kidney, liver, or heart disease. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine.
