Dilnip Trio is a prescription medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), especially when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with a single medicine. It is a combination of three medicines: telmisartan, which relaxes and widens blood vessels; cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker that improves blood flow by relaxing the blood vessel walls; and chlorthalidone, a diuretic or “water pill” that helps remove excess salt and water from the body. Together, these medicines help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of complications such as stroke, heart attack, kidney damage, and heart failure.
