How Amlowal At 5/50 MG Tablet 10 Works
Amlowal At 5/50 MG Tablet 10 is composed of two active ingredients:
- Amlodipine (5 mg): This ingredient falls under the category of calcium channel blockers. Its primary action is restricting the movement of calcium ions into the heart and vascular smooth muscle cells. By doing so, it helps widen your blood vessels and improve the supply of blood and oxygen to your heart. This action effectively lowers high blood pressure.
- Atenolol (50 mg): As a beta blocker, atenolol specifically targets beta-1-adrenergic receptors in your heart and vascular smooth muscle.
