Direction of Use
- Nasya should be done on an empty stomach in the morning after brushing and evacuating your bowels, 30 minutes before bath.
- Gently massage your face and neck with a few drops of sesame oil, avoiding the eyes.
- Place a towel over a medium-hot pan until it’s slightly warm. Check the temperature and apply it over your face and neck, avoiding the eyes.
- Lie on your bed, extend your hands and legs, and keep a pillow under your head.
- Ensure there is not too much sunlight or wind entering the room. Place a container nearby to spit out excess mucus.
- Place Anu Thailam in a warm bowl of water. After a few minutes, take out the Thailam and check if it is sufficiently hot.
- Instill 1-2 drops of Thailam in each nostril while lying down, face up. When the medicine reaches your throat, spit out the excess mucus.
