This action leads to decreased hepatic cholesterol production, resulting in an increase in LDL receptor expression on hepatocytes, which aids in clearing LDL from the blood.
- Clopidogrel (75 mg): This is a medicine that needs to be transformed into an active metabolite by the liver via CYP2C19.
