Cintodac Capsule is a combination medicine used to treat acidity-related conditions such as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), indigestion, duodenal ulcers, erosive oesophagitis (acid-related damage to the food pipe), infections caused by Helicobacter pylori (when given with antibiotics), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It helps reduce stomach acid and prevents acid from flowing back into the food pipe.
Uses
Cintodac Capsule helps relieve symptoms such as heartburn, acidity, stomach pain, and difficulty swallowing caused by excess acid. Regular use as prescribed improves digestion and protects the stomach and oesophagus from acid damage. Taking it at the same time each day before meals enhances its effectiveness.
Side Effects and Precaution
Common side effects include headache, stomach pain, flatulence, constipation, and diarrhoea. These side effects are usually mild and temporary. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy. Do not stop taking the medicine without your doctor’s advice. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or if you have liver or kidney problems.
