Cosmelite Cream is a topical preparation used to treat melasma. It contains Hydroquinone, Mometasone, and Tretinoin for effective skin treatment.
Uses
This medicine helps treat melasma, which causes dark brown patches on the face. Melasma is common and often called mask of pregnancy or chloasma. Hydroquinone lightens skin by decreasing the amount of melanin pigment. Mometasone reduces redness, itching, and swelling by inhibiting chemical messengers. Tretinoin increases skin cell renewal, helping the outer skin layers exfoliate naturally.
Side Effects and Precaution
Some people may experience skin pain, irritation, or a burning sensation. Redness, acne, itching, or stinging are also possible mild side effects. These reactions usually do not require medical attention and often resolve with time. Stop use and consult your doctor if side effects persist or worsen. Cosmelite Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, ears, or vagina. Do not apply it to cuts, open wounds, or sunburned skin areas. Avoid sun exposure while using this cream because it increases sun sensitivity. You must wear protective clothing and use sunscreen when you go outside. Do not use this cream if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Cosmelite is not recommended for children younger than 12 years old.
