Its active ingredient, Desvenlafaxine 100 mg,which works by increasing the levels of certain chemical messengers (serotonin and norepinephrine) in the brain. This maintains mental balance, helps regulate mood, and treats depression. Major depressive disorder (also known as clinical depression) is a mental health disorder characterized by persistant depressed mood, lack of interest, feeling of guilt, sleep disturbances or sucidial thoughts for a prolonged period (more than 2 weeks) that causes significant impairment in performing day-to-day activities.
