Duphalac Oral Solution Lemon is a laxative used to manage constipation and as an adjuvant in the management of hepatic encephalopathy. Its active ingredient is Lactulose, which is a synthetic sugar that that breaks down in the large intestine and then draws water into the intestine. This softens your stool, which helps to relieve constipation. It can also be used to reduce the level of ammonia in blood in people with liver disease.
