Directions for use
- Take about 10 ml of karpooradi thailam in a bowl
- Place the bowl in warm water. Check the temperature before applying, especially for children
- Rub generously on the chest, back, neck, and mildly along with the sinuses
- Follow with warm steam inhalation or apply a hot compress
- To make a compress, place a handful of mustard seeds in a muslin cloth and tie the ends to make a potli
- Gently warm the potli over a dry pan until it becomes slightly warm
- Check the temperature of the potli before applying
- Place the warm compress over the sinuses, on the chest, on the back, or along the neck, where you have applied the thailam
- You can also rub karpooradi thailam on the sole to help reduce congestion at night and enjoy uninterrupted sleep
Note: Karpooradi Thailam should never be added to your humidifier or nebuliser. Camphor, which is one of the active ingredients in our oil, is highly flammable and may cause harm to the devices. We suggest conducting a patch test for first-time users to ensure that there are no allergies.
