Syldo 8 Capsule is primarily used to manage the symptoms of a common male condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This medicine belongs to a group of medications known as alpha-adrenergic antagonists. While the main use of it is for managing BPH, it helps specifically with problems like difficulty starting urination, having a weak urine stream, and feeling the need to urinate often or urgently, including in the middle of the night. Please note that this medicine is not meant for treating high blood pressure.

How Syldo 8 Capsule Works?
Syldo 8 Capsule contains a single active ingredient, silodosin (8 mg). This component works within your body as follows:

Alpha-1A adrenoreceptor antagonist: Silodosin blocks specific receptors known as alpha-1A adrenoreceptors. These receptors are mainly found in certain parts of your urinary system such as the prostate gland and bladder neck.

Urine flow improvement: By blocking these receptors, silodosin relaxes the smooth muscle in these areas. This reduces tension in these parts of your body which improves urine flow rate without affecting other parts of your bladder.
