How Syldo 8 D Capsule 10 Works?
Syldo 8d Capsule 10 contains two active ingredients:
- Silodosin (8 mg): As an alpha-blocker, silodosin relaxes the prostate and bladder neck muscles. It selectively antagonises alpha-1 adrenoreceptors located in these tissues, leading to improved urinary flow and reduced symptoms of BPH.
- Dutasteride (0.5 mg): This component works as a selective inhibitor of both type 1 and type 2 isoforms of 5α-reductase, an enzyme crucial in converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is mainly responsible for prostate growth; hence, by lowering DHT levels in the prostate, dutasteride helps shrink the prostate and improves BPH symptoms.
