Wal Tartan-AMH 40 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Telmissartan, Amlodipine and Hydrochlorothiazide. Telmissartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by making blood vessels wider and relaxing them which lowers blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes excess water and some electrolyte from the body by urination. Over time it also acts by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
